Silvalyn Ring Size Guide

Find Your Perfect Ring Size

Measure a ring you already own or measure your finger, then compare the result with our Indian ring-size chart.

Choose a Method

Two simple ways to find your size

Measuring the inner diameter of a well-fitting ring is usually the easiest method. When you do not have a suitable ring, measure your finger with a thin strip of paper.

01

Measure an existing ring

Measure straight across the widest internal part of a ring that already fits the intended finger.

Follow this method
02

Measure your finger

Wrap a non-stretchable paper strip around your finger and measure the marked length.

Follow this method
Measure the inner diameter of a ring A ring with a horizontal measurement line through its widest internal part and a ruler underneath. INNER DIAMETER 0 10 20 30 40 mm
Measure only the empty internal distance, not the outer edges of the ring.
Recommended Method

Measure a ring that already fits

Choose a ring that fits the same finger on which you intend to wear your new Silvalyn ring.

1

Place the ring flat on a ruler marked in millimetres.

2

Measure across the widest empty internal space from one inside edge to the opposite inside edge.

3

Do not include the thickness of the ring’s metal edges.

4

Record the inner diameter in millimetres and match it with the chart below.

Important: The ruler must pass through the exact centre and widest internal part of the ring.

Mark where the paper ends overlap, then remove the strip, lay it flat and measure its length in millimetres.
Alternative Method

Measure your finger

Use a thin, non-stretchable strip of paper. Avoid thread, elastic or thick material because it can produce an inaccurate result.

1

Cut a narrow paper strip and wrap it around the base of the intended finger.

2

Keep the paper comfortably fitted. It should not squeeze your finger or remain loose.

3

Mark the exact point where the two paper ends overlap.

4

Lay the paper flat, measure the marked length in millimetres, and match it with the circumference column.

For a dependable result: Repeat the measurement two or three times. If the result falls between two available sizes, choose the larger size.

Comfort and Fit

How should your ring feel?

A well-fitted ring should sit securely at the base of your finger and pass over the knuckle with gentle resistance.

  • Secure at the base of your finger
  • Gentle resistance over the knuckle
  • No deep pressure mark after removal
  • No excessive spinning during normal wear

Tips for a more accurate result

01

Measure later in the day

Fingers may be slightly smaller early in the morning or when your hands are cold.

02

Measure the correct finger

The same finger on the opposite hand may have a different measurement.

03

Repeat the measurement

Measure two or three times before selecting your final ring size.

04

Consider the knuckle

The ring must pass over the knuckle while staying comfortable at the finger base.

05

Allow for wider bands

Wider bands can feel tighter than slim bands in the same ring size.

06

Between two sizes?

The larger available size is usually the more comfortable choice.
